
Dr Wincy Ng
Dr Ng is currently an Associate Consultant at the Adult Intensive Care Unit, Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong. She is also Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of the Critical Care Medicine Unit at the University of Hong Kong. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2014 and the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP), UK in 2017. She completed her specialty training in Critical Care Medicine in 2021. Her areas of interests includes Critical Care Echocardiography and Extracorporeal Life Support. She obtained the European Diploma in Critical Care Echocardiography (EDEC) in 2024 and is currently an EDEC supervisor. She acquired Testamur status in the Examination of Special Competence in Adult Echocardiography (ASCeXAM) in 2024. She attained the Diplomate status in Critical Care Plus Transesophageal Echocardiography of the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE) in 2025. She has recently become a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE) in April 2025. She is actively involved in echocardiography education and was instructor and faculty member in multiple local and international courses in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Indonesia, Europe, and the United States.
