Happy New Year to you all! And a big THANK YOU for those who supported us in 2024, especially to those fantastic volunteer trainers! 2025 is the Year of Snake representing mysterious, smart, wise, determined, and caring – just like healthcare!

2024 has been a very fruitful year. We ran a couple of very successful RACEplus and PIE courses and the responses and feedback have been extremely positive, especially so for PIE. In fact, we have already engaged with a number of Colleges and Societies to run the courses again. 2025 is going to be another busy year for us.

In terms of charitable activities, we ran a few free echo courses for low income countries in 2024 which we may continue to do so in 2025. We are also funding the upgrade of Blue Mountain Hospital education centre to improve the quality of education and meetings (environment).

In view of the current inflation, we are unable to keep pace with the increased expenditures for the courses and the day-to-day running costs of NICCER (even we are all non-salaried). We therefore have no choice but to increase the price slightly – the first time in the last 8 to 10 years.
