NICCER welcome critical care professionals or who are interested in critical care medicine to join as members.

Types of memberships

There are 4 classes of members:

Academic or Clinical Members

If you are a professional and/or an academic working in the critical care field in Australia, you can join NICCER as an Academic or Clinical Member. Typically, this include, not not limited to, academic (researchers), medical practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, sonographers and other allied healthcare workers. The cost is $50.00 (incl. GST) per year.

Associate Members

If you are interested in critical care medicine, and would like to learn more about critical care, you can join us as Associate Members. This is open to students in healthcare (undergraduate or research degrees), non-critical care medical trainees and nurses, administrative or other staff working in critical care in Australia. The cost is $20.00 (incl. GST) per year.

Honorary Members

Honorary Membership is catered for our volunteers and course trainers in recognition of their contributions to NICCER. If you are retired, as far as you were a critical care professional, we still recognize all the contributions you had made in the past. You can join us as an Honorary Member and enjoys all the benefits we provided for the paid memberships, including being a member of our Forum. Honorary Membership is free for life.

Overseas colleagues can also join us as Honorary Member.

Forum Member

If you do not want to join us as a formal member but would like to participate in our Forum, you can join us as a Forum Member for free. It is open to Australia and overseas colleagues.
