RACE (Rapid Assessment by Cardiac Echo) is a transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) course specifically designed for the critical care and acute care physicians. Its objective is to equip physicians in these areas with the skills and knowledge to perform focused bedside TTE so that common cardiac and haemodynamic disorders can be identified quickly. RACE is suitable for physicians with little or no prior knowledge of TTE, and there is a strong focus on HANDS-ON practice in this course.

RACEplus is an extended course of RACE. The content of RACEplus:
♦ Day 1: RACE workshop
♦ Day 2: Intermediate (the plus) module that includes
✓Lung ultrasound
✓Echo in hypotensive patients
✓Focused assessment and feedback from instructors
✓Case interpretation workshop

RACEplus is a recognized course for CME purpose by various colleges in Australasia & other countries, including CICM, ACEM, ANZCA, RACP, ASUM (RCE), HKCEM and HKCA.

- Please note that ePre-course will not be available until 2021. Hence, a Certificate of Attendance will be issued after successful completion of the course.

If a course is cancelled by the Organiser, full (100%) refund will be returned to the Registrant. If the course is postponed, the Registrant can either seek a full refund or attend the course on the new date(s). Cancellation or postponement of course delivery will be announced at least 20 days prior to the original delivery date.
