DESCRIPTION:Location: Dunedin\, NZ\n\nDate: 22-23 August 2026\n\nFee: AUD1\
 ,400.00 (early bird) (from 22 July 2026 AUD1\,600)\n\nRACE (Rapid Assessmen
 t by Cardiac Echo) is a transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) course specifi
 cally designed for the critical care and acute care physicians.  Its objec
 tive is to equip physicians in these areas with the skills and knowledge to
  perform focused bedside TTE so that common cardiac and haemodynamic disord
 ers can be identified quickly.  RACE is suitable for physicians with littl
 e or no prior knowledge of TTE\, and there is a strong focus on HANDS-ON pr
 actice in this course.\n\nCourse content\n\n✓Left heart function\n\n✓Ri
 ght heart function\n\n✓Pericardial effusion and cardiac tamponade\n\n✓I
 ntravascular volume (fluid status) assessment\n\nRACEplus is an extended co
 urse of RACE.  The content of RACEplus:\n\n♦ Day 1: RACE workshop\n\n♦
  Day 2: Intermediate (the plus) module that includes\n\n✓Lung ultrasound\
 n\n✓Echo in hypotensive patients\n\n✓Focused assessment and feedback fr
 om instructors\n\n✓Case interpretation workshop\n\n ePre-course\n\nAfter
  registration\, participants will have access to our ePre-course.\n\n** Im

  points\n\nThis RACEplus is supported by Macau Society of Emergency and Cri

  CME purpose by various colleges in Australasia & other countries\, includi
 ng CICM\, ACEM\, ANZCA\, RACP\, ASUM (RCE and BELS)\, HKCEM and HKCA.\n\n
